The spring feeding this creek is near Dead Horse Hut, and the water is fresh. The men often use it when finding a water source for themselves and cattle.

Ideal for cattle grazing, this wide open area between the ridge and the man's hut is often frequented by man during the warm months. In winter, however, brumby herds have been known to graze here.
